Kay Fisker Mid-Century Armchair

About the Item

A oak and linnen armchair designed by Kay Fisker in the 1950's for the King Frederik IX ferry in Denmark. This prestigious ferry was the largest of its kind in the world. The Danish government commissioned their best craftsmen to furnish the luxury lounges and restaurants. This particular chair has been restaured preserving its original patina. We also reupholstered it with dark linnen.
