About the Item
Leather Sofa - Modern Seating - Iconic Designer Sofa
Sharp, masculine and playful are the pieces of Meccano collection. The technical aspect of the construction world to car lifestyle give back a unique attitude to the collection. Edgy yet grateful Meccano represents the intimacy of Spinzi’s approach to furniture design with an outcome that is creative and classic and the same time.
This is the daybed with rounded corners and a thin but sturdy structure reflecting the style of the Meccano collection. Inspired by the mechanical and aviation world, keeping the essential and giving a minimalist sense to the space where it's placed, as a single piece mixed with other furniture or as a set.
The sofa cushion is made in premium grey suede leather, very soft and warm at the touch.
The finish is called Burned Metal and it has the typical dark color of oven-forged metal, with blue veins or stains. It is powder.coated with a transparent and semi translucent finish to protect the finish.
The patina of the color is a peculiarity of this collection: every piece is different in shades of color, size of the stains / veins and welding points. A small amount of rawness balanced with the precision of the bends and the laser cut lines give to the pieces a strong character, masculine, timeless and suitable for Brutalist and modernist loft interiors.
