Vintage Universal Furniture Chinoiserie Set of 4 Chairs
About the Item
Four Universal Furniture chinoiserie dining chairs.
Unique blonde wood.
One chair with arms and 3 without.
They have high, straight backs and a solid back splat with a geometric carved pattern at the top. The finish is in particularly good condition, with only very minimal wear from general use. There is some light wear on the legs where the trim and main bulk of the leg meet. The chairs have a lovely cream embossed fabric on the cushions. There is a couple of small spots on the back of the chair at the top there the finish is scratched. The wood grain of the chair, particularly on the back splat is genuinely nice. The chair has dual spreader supports that run horizontally from side to side. The cushion and springs are in good condition, and still supportive and strong. The chair is 41.5” tall, 41” tall at the center, 20” high at the seat, 20.5” wide across the front of the seat, 18.5” deep at the seat, 21” deep in total, and 21.5” wide across the leg span.
