1950s Borge Mogensen Set of Two Shell Chairs in Oak and Teak

About the Item

Set of two shell chairs designed in 1950 for Søborg Møbelfabrik. The shell chair distinguishes itself by the use of a plywood molding technique. The chair consists of two wide and slightly curved teak shells, resting on an oak frame with angled legs. The chair belong to a line of furniture that Mogensen designer for Søborg furniture. The chairs have been overlooked by our cabinetmaker to ensure that they are in good condition.
