Elegant Set of 12 French Louis XV Style Upholstered Dining Chairs
About the Item
This fine set of French Louis XV style dining chairs boast well carved hardwood frames with high backs on cabriole legs. There are carved bouquets of fine florets depicted to the sinuously carved frame underneath the seat along with the upper arched back with deep mouldings throughout the woodwork. The chairs have striped upholstery to the seat and back cushions with upholstered trim wrapped around the borders.

44 1/2"H x 19 1/2"W x 23"D x 17 1/2"H to seat
Condition: Light wear, but most chairs have barely been used. There appears to be wear to the upholstery but the thread actually is slightly indented from being up against the dining table and a few other chairs from being sat in. Some chairs have loose welting that will need to be glued back in place and there is some slight wear on the fabric to some of the chairs which do not impact the fine presentation. Overall they are good quality and present well. Please see photos for condition details.
