Oak Steam Bent Dining Chairs in the Arts and Crafts/ Art Nouveau Style, 1900’s

About the Item

A beautifully crafted and very interesting set of four Oak Dining Chairs or side chairs in the manner of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Straddling the styles around the early 20th Century these chairs show signs of the Arts & Crafts movement, Symbolism, Art Nouveau and Glasgow Style.With high backs and beautifully ergonomically shaped and crafted steam bent seats these chairs have a wonderful natural organic flow to them and a simplicity that will work well in a modern interior. The chairs have been professionally re polished and are in good condition with beautiful colour and age. Measures: Height 112cm x Width 47cm, Depth 45cm, Seat height 43cm, Seat depth 42.5cm, seat width 40.5cm.
