Set of 6 Italian Lacquered Black Dining Chairs in the Manner of Paolo Buffa
About the Item
Set of 6 midcentury Italian lacquered black dining chairs in the manner of Paolo Buffa.
Very sleek dining chairs with long curved back, finished in jet black thick lacquer.
Consists of 4 Fresco chairs and 2 carver armchairs.
The Carvers have streamlined curved roomy arm rests for ease and comfort.
Still sporting its original 1950s upholstery cover fabric, the covers are in clean condition without damage however the chairs could benefit from re-upholstery.
All chairs are in excellent sturdy vintage condition without structural damage.
Cosmetically, the carver armchairs show some surface scratches to it's hard wear areas like the armrests.
There are few other light surface marks to the rest of the chairs including on the frescos but nothing to write home about.
