Set of Four French Louis XIV Style Walnut Dining Chairs

About the Item

Spectacular set of four bespoke dining chairs crafted from walnut in the grand French Louis XIV baroque taste. The handsome walnut frames have a classic square back with a subtle peaked crest. The generous seats are upholstered in soft off-white leather with an exposed back having a herringbone design fabric inset. The leather is bordered with small decorative patinated brass tack nail heads. The seats are supported by dramatic turned legs conjoined by a gracefully curved X shaped stretcher ending with bun feet. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a stunning profile.
