Set of Four Walnut Dining Chairs Attributed to Edward Wormley for Dunbar
About the Item
This beautifully crafted set of four wingback Walnut Dining chairs was custom made for the Executive offices of Owens-Corning, attributed to Edward Wormley for Dunbar Furniture Co.. The chairs and their construction, materials hardware, and fasteners all have the earmarks of Dunbar furniture and it was confirmed by Owens-Corning that Edward Wormley was the interior designer for their Executive offices. The legs have the stylized Corning glyph carved and inlaid into the leg tips and were marked "Owens-Corning" on the original cambric. The chairs have been painstakingly restored, reglued and refinished.
