Magnificent set of 6 Windsor elm wood 'Hoop Back' chairs from the 19th century-England without armrests. Very nice set which stands out by its good sturdy hand made quality. Some of the chairs are stamped under the seat with different Initials and marker marks. On one of the chairs it reads F. Howland, see pictures Please take a good look at dimensions as these are not 'high' or 'wide' chairs. All slightly different in size and height. total height varies from 83-86cm (32.7"-33.9") seat height varies from 44-46cm (17.3"-18.1") Look at the nice patina on these robust rustic farm kitchen table chairs.
