Six French Country Ladderback Painted Dining Chairs Early 19th Century

Six French country ladderback painted dining chairs early 19th century.
Superb quality set of 6 antique French Louis XV Baroque style carved fruit wood provincial ladderback dining chairs. The top rail has a finely carved floral motif which also can be found on the apron. Turned legs and stretchers add strength and stability. The chairs are beautifully painted in pale blue and mustard yellow with a naturally aged rustic patina. They are upholstered in a matching fabric. This set of handcrafted chairs displays a classic provincial profile. Condition is good with age-appropriate wear. Aged rustic patina on the paint finish. Later upholstery.
