A superb English made pair of Regency Revival side chairs dating from the late 20th century. These chairs have been masterfully hand crafted in beautiful solid flame mahogany throughout and the finish and attention to detail on display are truly breathtaking. They both feature an attractive bar back design with hand carved decoration and 'drop in' seats that are upholstered in the finest olive green suede effect fabric. Transform the fine dining experience in your home with this set of dining chairs fit for a king. THE BOTANICAL NAME FOR THE MAHOGANY THESE ITEMS ARE MADE OF IS SWIETENIA MACROPHYLLA AND THIS TYPE OF MAHOGANY IS NOT SUBJECT TO CITES REGULATION. Condition: In excellent condition having been beautifully polished in our workshops, please see photos for confirmation. Matching his words to his work, Sheraton designed much mahogany furniture. The qualities that impressed Sheraton are particularly evident in a distinctive pattern of wood called "flame mahogany."
