19th Century French Napoleon III Period Walnut Needlework Footstool

About the Item

A lovely French Napoleon III period footstool handcrafted of walnut in Normandy having a beautiful floral needlework seat embellished with a velvet trim and brass nailheads, circa 1880s. Raised on fluted, tapering legs joined by a curved, carved "X" stretcher with center carved finial. Dimensions: H - 19.5" W - 21" D - 19.5".
