Danish Midcentury Highback Lounge Chair with Channel Back and Mahogany Armrests
About the Item
A rare find. Danish midcentury chair from the late 1940's or early 1950s. The wooden frame on the armrests and the tapered thin front legs capped with brass shoes is reminiscent of Frits Henningsen's designs. Made from mahogany upholstered in a dark red wool. with carved and very elaborate armrests that extend into the front legs. The chair is overall very good condition with minor traces of wear to the armrests and legs. The original fabric in good clean usable condition.
