Pair of lounge chairs, velvet, teak, Italy, 1950s
An extremely elegant pair of armchairs, made in Italy in the 1950s. The seat is beautifully made and embodies a splendid construction of round shapes and curved lines. The body is upholstered in a delicate brown velvet and complemented by tapered feet in teak, underlining the refined look. Overall this design breathes the style and sophistication of mid century Italian design.
Please note that we advise reupholstery before use, the fabric and foam of these chairs needs to be replaced. Reupholstery and restoring of the foam can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
