Early 20th Century Hand Carved Islamic Moorish Window Seat A good example of an early 20th Century hand carved Islamic Moorish window settle. Recently reupholstered and cushioned for modern day use. This example is of wider form which would fit perfectly across a window ledge. Dimensions in inches: H 24” x W 39” x D 17” Age: 1910 - 1920 Origin: Syria Condition: Aged This item shows natural wear and aging through obvious use over the years. It is missing some fret work across both side sections as shown. The wooden surface is worn in sections and shows loss of detail due to its age. This item is touched and original to its age apart from recently being reupholstered and padded for modern day use.
