French Luxurious Chaise Longue, circa Mid-18th Century, Louis XIV Style
About the Item
This French Louis XVI Recamier stretches nearly seven feet to woo the owner to relaxation. Heavily detailed carvings accentuated by giltwood which today is burnished along the sumptuous curves of the frame and gives a lasting warmth and beauty that only time can render. Covered in a seafoam green brocade the eyelet reed work is still intact.
