About the Item
Pair of lounge chairs, fabric and oak, France, 1940s.
Wide and comfortable chairs in a soft beige velours upholstery. Truly extraordinary lounge chairs that feature a very deep seat and rounded armrests that are in the style of Rene Drouet. These chairs provide a very comfortable seat due to the deep frame. The base consists of wooden legs.
The lounge chairs are upholstered in beige fabric which shows signs of use and wear, mainly at the armrests with small damages and small tears. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
