About the Item
This 'Karuselli' swivel lounge chair by Yrjo¨ Kukkapuro, originally designed in 1964, features a strong fiberglass shell, soft black leather upholstery, and a chromed steel swivel mechanism that rotates and tilts to achieve the most comfortable sitting position. Designed with ergonomics in mind and perfectly proportioned to cradle the human body.
Finnish architect and designer Alvar Aalto established a legacy of durable and modern decor options with Artek, founded in 1935. This 'Karuselli' swiveling lounge chair by Yrjo¨ Kukkapuro would work great in a Post-Modern, Mid-Century Modern, Space Age Mod, Scandanavian Modern, or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Zen / Minimalism room.
