Pair of Danish 1940s Channel Back Low Easy Chairs with Open Armrests by Slagelse
About the Item
Classic pair of elegant Danish low back armchairs from the 1940s by Slagelse Mobelvaerk. The style of the legs is identical to the style used on most of Viggo Boesen's design so the design could easily be by him. Open armrests in beech. Solid and sturdy construction. These chairs have copper coils in both seat and backrest and are very comfortable. The chairs have been reupholstered at a later point and the mohair fabric remains in clean usable condition. The previous owner had the armrests partially sanded and refinished. We like the look but are able to refinish the armrests to either a natural look or refinish with stain. We do offer reupholstery service on these chairs at very competitive prices.
