Great pair of new upholstered Danish lounge chairs marked Bovenkamp Bovenkamp was a Dutch based company that imported Danish furniture by famous designers like Aksel Bender Madesen in the 1950s and 1960s These chairs are a great example on how to design a chair that was small in volume to transport and to be easily assembled on location by the customer The legs can be screwed off and the arm & backrests can be removed by unscrewing 6 screws to make a flat packed box small volume The design and materials (Teak & Birch) are of high quality and we fully reupholstered this set with new Latex and Pantera foam and period matching De Ploeg 'Monza' upholstery Very minimal looking yet extremely comfortable sitting lounge chairs.
