About the Item
Pair of iconic and highly collectible Italian Mid Century armchairs designed by Guglielmo Ulrich in the 1950s. The lounge chairs are completely restored with new padding and covered in linen fabric, the armrests and feet are in curved walnut, also restored and polished. Ulrich was born in Milan in 1904 to a noble family of Danish origin and had a decorated career in the furniture industry until his death in 1977. He was a noted Italian architect, furniture designer, and painter.
This pair of chairs is an excellent example of mastering ergonomic lumbar and leg support without sacrificing style or materials. The chairs measure 32” deep x 26” wide x 34.5” tall.
