Pair of Thonet Lounge Chairs
About the Item
For your consideration is this pair of lounge chairs by Thonet dating from the 1960s with their original vinyl upholstery and original wood finish. The arms and legs are formed by a single piece of steam bent laminated wood that create a distinctive, sinuous profile. The original vinyl is durable and has a subtly mottled, desaturated mustard appearance. The chairs are sturdy, structurally sound, and notably comfortable. They are great for use as is with age appropriate wear.

- Condition:Replacements made: The cambric fabric on the underside of the seats is new. Wear consistent with age and use. Sturdy and structurally excellent with no loose joints. The original vinyl upholstery is in good, clean condition with some small areas of wear as pictured. The original wood finish shows wear as pictured, including scuffs, scratches, and nicks.
