Pair of Vintage Wingback Lounge Chairs attributed to Edward Wormley

About the Item

Very elegant dramatic pair of vintage wingback lounge chairs attributed to Edward Wormley. Unmarked. I would suspect that this chair form was designed by Edward Wormley for Heritage Henredon. Heritage Henredon worked with high end designers including Dorothy Draper and Frank Lloyd Wright. Edward Wormley is also known to have done design consultation work outside of Dunbar. I believe these are not Dunbar and most likely Heritage Henredon. Really a beautiful and well done design. These are being sold with the intent to reupholster (as shown in photos). The finish to the wood legs shows some wear but structurally sound. Please see reference photos of this chair in different fabrics and wood base in espresso finish as examples of how will look when refurbished. Sold per chair. 2 available at this time. In the manner of Gio Ponti
