Rare Sculptural Lounge Chair with Decorative Frame in Oak

Lounge chair, stained oak, brown cord upholstery, Europe, 1970s
Exquisite low lounge chair with characteristic wooden frame. The frame is decorated with geometric gaps in oval and circular shapes. In addition, carved lines structure the surface. The legs rise higher that the seat and backrest, creating an upright accent. A think seat and tilted backrest cushion provide comfort for the sitter and at the same time give the frame room to express.
Please note that this item is in good, used condition. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftsmen and -women in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece contains its value and is ready for the many years to come. We kindly ask you to contact our design experts for further information about the endless possibilities our restoration and upholstery atelier has to offer. Of course, a locally organized reupholstery is possible as well.
