Pair of One-of-a-kind Silk Ottomans
About the Item
These one-of-a-kind pair of ottomans are statement pieces that add sophisticated elegance and dramatic flair to any room they inhabit. The extremely comfortable attached top cushions are covered in a black slub weave silk. The sides of each ottoman is upholstered in a unique, yet complimentary, vintage silk Japanese Obi from the 1930’s. The first of the pair has front and back panels displaying a single golden peacock feather woven on a matt black background, the two other side panels are in black matt silk. The corners of the ottoman are pleated to reveal a hint of the fascia silk satin underneath. The second ottoman has all four side panels covered in a magnificent leaves on waves pattern woven using gold, silver and bordeaux silk thread. These distintive ottomans, impeccable in their sartorial craftsmanship were designed and made entirely by hand exclusively for KalaRara in Rome, Italy.
