Designing furniture using molded materials invites a fundamentally different creative process. Form is transformed, creativity becomes boundless. Lyon Béton works with concrete, a notoriously tricky material that imposes its own constraints. But within those constraints is the french studio's creative terrain. They’ve brought along some bold designers who get their approach and its potential. Thanks to them, Lyon Béton proposes elegant and unique products. Lyon Béton's inspiration comes from the urban environment and global design movements that explored the combination of geometric forms in the service of a philosophy or an art of living: the De Stijl school, the Bauhaus, Art deco or Brutalism to name a few. For more than 10 years, they have been creating elegant and original products from a very raw material and they are showing no signs of stopping.
