About the Item

Modular sectional sofa, structured yellow upholstery, metal, United States, 1960s This two-part sofa is upholstered in soft yellow structured fabric that emphasizes the strong lines of the piece. The two different parts can be placed together to form a corner sofa or placed apart as two separate elements. The backrest shows a triangular shape when looking from the side. A minimalist base in steel lifts up the sofa in a minimalist way. The way the seat and base are designed reminds of Georg Nelson’s designs for Herman Miller. Measurements corner element: D 78 x W 155 x H 73.5 x SH 40 cm. Please note that we advise reupholstery before use. This item contains threadbare upholstery with tears and stains. Reupholstery can be done before shipping by our experienced craftspeople in our own in-house restoration atelier. With high attention for the original, they make sure every piece retains its value and is ready for the many years to come.
