19th Century English Settle

About the Item

19th century oak settle from England. The top has a lovely scalloped and hand carved decorated crown over a wonderfully hand carved decorated paneled back. The arms have scrolled ends over hand turned supports, which continue to the front legs. The back legs are simple for easy placement against a wall and are joined to the front legs by simple stretchers. The seat height is 18.5 inches.
