A 19th century Louis XIII style French settee, or banquette, made of solid walnut. Sculptural scrolled arms with hand-carved acanthus leaf details. Well-crafted, sturdy frame with six legs joined by center stretchers. Comfortable seating with tall back. Striped velvet upholstery with nail head trim is in excellent condition, as found.
