Art Deco Italian Neoclassic Settee
About the Item
This Art Deco Italian settee has distinctive neoclassic elements such as the fluted carving details on arms/legs and the use of Classic black lacquer with gold highlights on wood surfaces. Featuring petite modified wings and a simple slab seat and back this piece is thought to be an example of the early work of Gio Ponti. The settee has been completely re-upholstered in linen.
