Early 19th Century French Empire Mahogany Settee An Empire finely carved dark figured mahogany three seat settee, the back is surmounted by facing scrolls with strigilated flutes below. The settee stand on turned double baluster legs at the front and sabre legs at the back. In the manner of Jacob Frères Georges Jacob (born in Cheny, July 6, 1739 and died in Paris, July 5, 1814) … Other titles, Ordinary joiner of Monsieur Frère du Roi, 1781.
