Italian 19th Century Carved Walnut Upholstered Settee with Scrolling Arms

About the Item

An Italian walnut settee from the 19th century, with curving back, scrolling arms and tapered feet. Created in Italy during the 19th century, this walnut settee features a curving back connected to two open arms with scrolling extremities and acanthus leaf carvings. The seat and back have recently been reupholstered with a neutral toned double welt fabric. The ensemble is raised on four legs, tapered and adorned with carved motifs in the front while slightly saber in the back. With its graceful lines and walnut patina, this 19th century Italian settee will bring a touch of elegance to any living room or bedroom.
