About the Item
Organically shaped with a touch of whimsy this one of a kind pair of Fir chairs was handcrafted in 1912 in the Big Sur/Carmel region of Central California. The bottom of each chair is signed M. Wieland . Pyramid shaped fastener covers finish the backs of the chairs
The fir grain, and the mirrored negative spaces carved into the backs of these solid chairs give them sculptural, and whimsical qualities that work in any style of decor.
