About the Item

One pair of "Chiavari" side chairs. Italy 1950s.
Hand polished solid brass frames.
Very delicate and elegant Design.
The Original design of this chair was created at the beginning of the 19th century in the Napoleon III style by Giuseppe Gaetano Descalzi.
They were produced in the italian town of Chiavari.
The two side chairs from the 50s are well upholstered and covered with an original light pink salmon-colored velvet.
The brass frame is in good condition.
One velvet cover is slightly faded due to age.
The casual brass side chairs are often part of well-known film sets.
