Pair of 18th Century Dutch Walnut Side Chairs

About the Item

Wonderful pair of heavily carved 18th century Dutch side chairs. Both chairs have shell carvings in the crest rails. The knees are carved with Rococo themed acanthus patterns, rounding into cabriolet legs terminating in carved claw feet. The legs are stabilized with H shaped leg stretchers. Both slip seats are covered in tooled leather featuring geometric patterns and roosters which appears to be original to the chairs. The pair is very solid and ready for use. We can re-upholster the seats to your fabric for $100 per chair additional, not including costs of fabric.
