Rosewood Rococo Revival Slipper Chairs France A Pair
About the Item
An exceptional pair of French Rococo Revival slipper chairs in Rosewood. Each chair meticulously carved with intricate detailing of flora-form in various states of bloom. Retaining the original wooden rollers and brass casters. These have been reupholstered in a gorgeous champagne colored shantung silk. One of them retained the original label from Florian Papp Inc. dated 1941. That label has been reattached.

- Condition:Wear consistent with age and use. Minor fading. Frames appear to retain older if not original finish. Slight color deferential between the two with one frame a little lighter, likely sun fade. no restorations or modifications have been made other than upholstery and interior filling.
