About the Item
19th century swedish carved birch sofa circa 1880.
Elegant swedish formal sofa which seats a comfortable 3. Straight back with shaped birch border. Roll top arms with carved acanthus leaf detailing flowing down to the applied carved plaque above the foot. Standing on 3 carved scrolling legs.
Upholstery is in usable condition with some natural daylight fading to the centre. (please see pictures) complete with 2 cushions. Covering has recently been professionally cleaned.
Expected minor surface marks to woodwork and minor repairs to veneer.
