A Pair of Butterfly Sofas Attributed to Maison Jansen

About the Item

A pair of light as air sofas in faded violet velvet that appear to be floating - like butterflies. Reputedly created by Maison Jansen for a Parisian hotel lobby, and now bringing the same luxury and whimsy to your own home. The three generous individual sections with gently curved seats and backs of narrow upholstery creating an appealing undulating effect. The whole supported on elegantly curving silvered metal legs. Attributed to Maison Jansen, circa 1980.
