About the Item
An incredibly rare Space Age ‘Zeppelin’ sofa designed by Walter Leeman for Velda in 1972. Only 20 copies of this sofa were produced. Monumental dimensions and the fluid, tubular structure give this sofa a sculptural aesthetic. The frame is exceptionally constructed of metal and features original, buttery soft olive green leather upholstery with a stunning, natural patina. Decorative tapered side seams and delicate stitching compliment the beautiful craftsmanship. Belgium, 1970s.
