1950's French Mid Century Brutalist Stool

About the Item

1950’s French mid century Brutalist stool 1950’s French mid century Brutalist stool. Exceptional French mid century high stool from the Alsace region, showing the distinct brutalist alpine design from the region, and a distinct nod to the designs of Charlotte Perriand. The stool is made in solid pine throughout with a steel support ring and steel caps joining the legs to the solid pine seat. Beautifully aged and in superb original condition. 34cm seat diameter and 77cm seat height. Workshop Report Our workshop team inspect every product and carry out any needed repairs to ensure that everything leaves us serviced and maintained ready for many more years of life. All of our vintage products show the rich beauty and history of their life with the knocks and bumps of many years of use and we try to minimise restoration to keep every piece as original as possible.
