About the Item
This rare and fantastic bar suite was in the 1980s by Design for Leisure. The now defunct company was a high quality seating resource for the interior design trade, in the day. These stools would often be found on luxury yachts, homes, etc. in the 1970s to the 1990s. Constructed with highly polished lucite backrests, columns of polished aluminum wrapped in lucite, and brushed steel bases. Upholstered in grey Ultrasuede.
Good condition. Very light, nearly invisible crazing to lucite columns. Lucite and metal is clear and bright! Would recommend recovering seats & backs, but very comfy in as-is shape. All swivel well, with normal tolerance in mechanism. All original leveling feet intact. Each item is very heavy. Very good vintage and original condition!
