English Regency Style 19th Century Mahogany Stool Curving Legs and Gilt Accents

About the Item

An English Regency style mahogany stool from the 19th century, with curving legs, ornate brass motif, gilt wooden ball feet and purple foliage themed fabric. Created in England during the 19th century, this Regency style mahogany stool captures the attention with its graceful lines and complimenting colors. The stool features a rectangular seat covered with a dark purple fabric adorned with a regular rhythm of golden toned foliage. The ensemble is raised on a graceful base made of scrolling legs, accented with a brass ornament on the apron on each side and gilded carved rosettes. These legs are mounted on petite gilded ball feet and are connected to one another through a spindle shaped stretcher placed on each side. With its beautiful silhouette and subtle décor, this English Regency style mahogany stool from the 19th century will make for a lovely addition to any home, placed in a living room, bedroom or hallway.
