Piano Stool by C.H. Hare & Son

About the Item

This late Victorian piano stool was created by the English firm of C. H. Hare & Son, which patented the base's unique X-frame design and crescent-shaped seat. Constructed of ebonized wood, cast iron and brass with an adjustable rise and fall mechanism, this stool is completed by black leather upholstery secured with a brass nail head trim. Marked "PAT applied for no. 18969" Late 19th century 18 5/8" wide x 11 5/8" deep x 21 1/4" high
