Aino Aalto Swivel Chair, Artek, 1935-1936

Introducing the extremely rare Aino Aalto Swivel Chair nr 1118, designed between 1935 and 1936 by Finnish architect Aino Marsio-Aalto. This chair features its original upholstery and an adjustable height mechanism, reflecting the era's functional design principles. Designed with a unique rocking mechanism, this chair provides a comfortable and practical seating solution as a work chair or a lounge chair. This chair was showcased in Artek’s second catalog. It was also pictured at Sunila Oy's director's room. Good vintage condition with signs of age and use. Original upholstery is also in good vintage condition. No structural issues.
