2 Antique 18th Century Qing Dynasty Shanxi Elm Wood Storage Chests Trunks Pair

About the Item

An exquisite pair of early Chinese Qing Dynasty chests on stands from the Shanxi Provenance, Circa 1750s. Made from elm with Ming inspired mortise and tenon bases supporting each lidded trunk. Each chest exhibits beautiful patina with hand dovetailed construction and decorative metal moon hardware. A veratile set that would work well as bedside tables, blanket chests, or side tables.
