Antique Romanian Painted Pine Blanket Chest
About the Item
An absolutely charming antique Romanian or eastern European painted blanket chest. Original paint in shades of green, yellow, red, blue and black. Original iron hardware. Using this piece as a coffee table or at the foot of the bed makes a stunning focal point in your space.
Ample interior storage. Stick is included for propping up the lid. A beautiful waxed surface just glows. The top shows abrasions and wear from use.
From an Aspen, Colorado estate.
Condition commensurate with age and use. Abrasions on the top from use. Old, no longer active, insect damage in the wood, particularly along the edges, see photos. Additional photos available upon request.
