About the Item
Charming Chinese chest in lacquered wood dating from the end of the 19th / beginning of the 20th century. This trunk is strongly marked by its Asian appearance, particularly at the level of the lock and the handles. It is decorated with flower bouquet motifs on the front. The decorations are finely painted. The workmanship is neat, careful and precise, a symbol of magnificent ancient Chinese craftsmanship
The lock and the handles are made of brass.
The locking system is very interesting.
All fittings are brass.
It is ideal for storing small items, blankets, books or magazines.
Nice dimensions
