Late 17th-Early 18th Century Carved Blanket Chest

About the Item

Circa 1690-1710 oak blanket chest from England with wonderful color and carving. The top has a beveled edge and is banded with hand carved lunette designs, over a wonderfully hand carved decorated case. The case has hand paneled and carved sides and three cartouche panels in the front, flanked by uniquely carved accents and wonderfully tall feet.
