19th Century Irish Pair of Cork Flame Mahogany Bookcases

About the Item

19th century Irish pair of cork flame mahogany bookcases, the upper section with stepped cornice with carved rope twist and acanthus flower motif raised above two brass grille lined doors with rope twist detail opening to reveal shelved interior. The lower section with carved rope twist detail raised over two paneled doors with matched flame mahogany veneer opening to reveal shelved interior flanked with two turned columns terminating on toupie foot.
